Step 1.4: The Role of Technology
Technology is often defined as a tool that enables a human capability. In the case of Blended Learning, one of the capabilities we need to enable is access—access to community, expertise, content and learning opportunities.
The spectrum below illustrates the way in which the role of technology in education changes as we move from a 100% physical environment to one that is 100% online.
