Pathways to policy: The power of interdisciplinary collaboration
Eric M. Meslin, CEO of the Council of Canadian Academies, will be at UBCO next Wednesday to give a public talk as part of the PINTS Speaker Series. This talk will look at how to move from ‘laboratory to legislature’ and the value of interdisciplinary collaboration when translating knowledge into the public sphere.

I was honoured to be part of the Annual Aboriginal Graduation celebration that took place on the evening of June 6th. There we two student speakers and special recognition of Grand Chief Stewart Phillip and Penticton Indian Band Counsellor Joan Phillip – it was a very powerful event.
