Online Transition

The Learning Services Portfolio projects are currently focused on supporting faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate students as they transition to blended learning modalities in the 2020-21 Academic year. We draw upon the Provost’s Office and affiliated units (e.g., Centre for Teaching and Learning, Library, Student Learning Hub) and collaborate with Faculties and other campus teams (e.g., IT, AVP Students)  on our projects.

This page focuses on collating Learning Services resources so that they may be used more widely. These are all living resources, updated regularly to reflect our evolving understanding of how we can support faculty and students in their transition to blended learning. Current resources are focused on Learning Design.

Learning Design Intern Program: A Companion Site

This resource was created to document and share the overall approach and content used to support the training and professional development of graduate students engaged in UBC Okanagan’s Learning Design Intern (LDI) Program.  This program provides graduate students with intensive training in the fundamentals of learning design in the context of blended learning, followed by a work experience in which they supported faculty members who are adapting their courses for blended delivery.
