The Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic advances the university’s academic mission by guiding initiatives and activities across the Okanagan campus. The office provides support and oversight to academic and administrative units across UBC’s Okanagan campus, working collaboratively to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and the overall student academic experience.

Centre for Teaching and Learning

The UBC Okanagan Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) supports teaching and learning communities on campus through delivery of programs, services and technologies that improve effectiveness of teaching and student outcomes in learning environments and reflect institutional goals of equity, diversity, inclusion and excellence.

Continuing and Professional Education

Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) advances UBC Okanagan’s strategic engagement, outreach and revenue goals by partnering with Faculties to design, develop and deliver non-credit credential programs to working professionals, lifelong learners and custom partner cohorts.

Enrolment Services

Enrolment Services provides enrolment and registrarial support in the areas of admissions, course scheduling, curriculum, degree auditing, final exams, records and registration, transfer credit and Workday Student affiliated processes.

Equity and Inclusion Office

The Equity and Inclusion Office advances UBC’s commitment to excellence, diversity and inclusion by promoting diversity, eliminating discrimination and engaging the community in dialogue and action.

International Student Initiative

The Internation Student Initiative manages UBC’s international student recruitment activities, ensuring that UBC attract students from countries around the world and helping to achieve our international strategy and enrolment goals.

Okanagan International Office

The Okanagan International Office provides strategic direction and support for UBC’s international activities. They advise on partnership development and serve as a central unit for coordinating the campus’ international activities and portfolios. The Okanagan International Office works closely with UBC Okanagan Faculties and units and collaboratively with units supporting international engagement across both campuses.

Planning, Analytics, & Institutional Research Office

The Planning, Analytics & Institutional Research Office (PAIR) leverages data and analytics to guide university-wide planning and decision-making, support integrated university planning, strengthen student learning and experiences, support faculty bargaining and promote a deeper understanding of the nature and quality of education at UBC.
