Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office

The Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Office provides confidential, trauma informed, identity affirming, and culturally safer support to UBC students, staff and faculty of all genders who are affected by sexualized violence, harassment, domestic violence or harm regardless of where or when it took place. They actively create opportunities for people to explore safety, healing, accountability, justice, community and leadership. SVPRO delivers innovative programming, supportive workplace trainings, and comprehensive prevention education in order to disrupt the root causes of violence, address incidents as they occur, challenge rape culture on campus and build empathy and understanding of trauma to support survivors.
